Claustrophobia

A long day of reading, trapped indoors with Hemingway’s The Garden of Eden — or rather, criticism and commentaries on The Garden of Eden. There’s been fog all morning, but by late afternoon the sun finally breaks through. Blue sky; the mountains come out; it might be the last warm, bright day of autumn. It’s time to go outdoors, escape the books.

Entering the park on the hill, I come upon this sight.
